Location: the hotel was just next door to the sandy beach, the estuary of the rivers Taw and Torridge, directly opposite Appledore and the waterfront overlooking the estuary of the rivers Taw. All the staff were very very helpful. The room was a nice size, with a separate bathroom.

The location had fine views of the sea and beach. The manager's warm welcome with complimentary tea and coffee was a lovely touch. The lounge had a great feel and plenty of reading material. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed a good sunday lunch. It's also great location between weatherspoons and an old people's home.

A Perfect Weekend Getaway!
What an very nice weekend! The staff was really good, helping with my bags without hesitation. The fine views across the estuary made our mornings lovely. For the best coffees in town, be sure to visit their onsite café. We can't wait to return!

Amazing stay with killer views!
The views from our room were very nice, and that soft duvet was a dream. James in the bar was super chill and made a mean Martini. The dinner was spot on, but the breakfast sausage could've used some work. Otherwise, loved the lounge vibe and the decor felt classy without being overboard.

Couples looking for a peaceful retreat
I gotta say the view from our room was fantastic. We had a marine room that came with its own terrace facing the estuary, just perfect for sipping some coffee and taking in the sunrise. The staff were helpful, even arranging a cup of tea for us on our arrival, it really set the tone for a great stay
It wasn't cheap but honestly, it was acceptable for what we got.

The room was clean and had an comfy bed. The views over the estuary were fantastic, really added to the charm. The only thing I'd say is it could use a bit more charm in decor, but it was cozy enough.
